The execution gap

Infrastructure does not behave
like a building.

Survey data, ground conditions and progress reporting all work differently when the site is a line rather than a plot: a corridor, a metro alignment, a freight route, a tunnel. Maharashtra has just finished building the largest set of linear assets in the country.

The data stack readiness check

Eight questions. No email. Tells you which sessions are actually yours.

A quarter-arc gauge with eight ticks, four filled, and a needle at an intermediate reading.
01Who owns your project data schema?
02How often is your site survey data actually refreshed?
03Where do your subcontractors log daily progress?
04If an instrument installed under the contract failed today, who notices?
05When was the last clash found in concrete rather than in the model?
06Could you produce asset-condition evidence for a funder this week?
07Is your platform contractually portable to another vendor?
08Could you hand over a live model today, or a PDF?

The conversation

The conversation

The people in this room are running the same problem from different sides of it. An owner wants one number they can take to a board. A contractor wants a schema that survives six subcontractors. A fund wants evidence it can read without a two-week manual exercise.

Put those three in a room and the conversation goes somewhere a vendor briefing never does. Nobody has to explain what chainage is, or why the model and the site disagree, or what happens to instrumentation in year seven. That shared floor is the whole point of the day.

So the sessions are built as arguments rather than presentations, and each one closes on three things you can actually do on Monday. If that is the conversation you have been trying to have inside your own organisation, you should be in it.

Who this is for

This is an infrastructure room.

Asset owners, EPCs, the project management consultants between them, the subcontractors who execute, and the funds and regulators who hold the asset afterwards.

If you are a technology vendor, you are welcome: in the room as a participant rather than a presenter, and on the record like everyone else.

If you would not be comfortable being asked what actually broke on your last programme, this is the wrong day.

The day, in full

Nothing gated. Nothing behind a login.

The Monday Morning Checklist

Every session closes the same way. The chair puts three actions on the record: things a delegate can start on the first working day after the summit, without a budget approval or a new licence.

They are written down in the room, by the room. Not a takeaway pack assembled afterwards by a marketing team, and not a slide of principles.

You leave with six checklists, one per session, and the name of the person in the room who is furthest ahead on each of them.

A longitudinal ground profile with chainage ticks, one in Data Stream Blue.

One day, six sessions, six checklists. Tell us where to send the programme.
